Restoring Our Earth Together 2021: An Event Programme

To celebrate Earth Day, Think City Institute (TCI) is presenting a week-long programme of webinars and film screenings in collaboration with Friends of Bukit Kiara, Fashion Revolution Week 2021, Habitat Penang Hill and The Habitat Foundation, from 20 April to 27 April 2021.
Themed ‘Restoring Our Earth Together 2021’ the week’s events echo the Restore Our Earth theme of EarthDay.org’s plan of action that includes the Earth Uprising global youth climate summit, the Teach for the Planet global education summit and its own Earth Day Live digital event.
Think City’s virtual programme is designed not just to inform and educate but to demonstrate how each of us can get involved at local and community levels and contribute towards sustaining our planet.

In association with Friends of Bukit Kiara TCI is presenting webinars on Youth Engagement In Climate Action(20.04 @9pm), Why Communities Are Important in Protecting Green Spaces (22.04 @9pm), Firefly Biodiversity, Mysteries & Ecology (24.04 @9pm) and Restoring Our Earth (27.04 @9pm).
For Fashion Revolution Week 2021, TCI is co-presenting Waste Not, Want Not (22.04 @11am), How Can #SupportLocal Shape A Fair And Responsible Fashion Future? (22.04 @3pm), Is Sustainable Fashion More Resilient? (23.04 @11am), and Batik – Thriving or Merely Surviving? (23.04 @3pm).
You can also join the viewing parties for the Emmy Award winning documentary Made in Bangladesh (21.04 @9pm) and the investigative film The Clothes We Wear (23.04 @9pm). Both films will be followed by an open community discussion moderated by Fashion Revolution.
